Seeking sunshine....Spring needs to arrive!!

Fun at the zoo...

This Saturday was member appreciation day at our local zoo. They had free breakfast (donuts & chocolate milk -- much to my kids' excitement, fresh fruit & coffee -- much to my excitement!), free rides on the carousel, train, etc. and lots more. We had a nice time. Feeding the lorikeets was a highlight.

Spent some time reorganizing the little girls' room....

I went through ALL of the clothes and weeded out the too small, too tight, too big, don't like it, wrong season, it's itchy, etc. and streamlined their closet & drawers. SO much better! At the same, I also added a few cute new wall decorations to the room. Landry & Laney love 'em! :)

Our dear friends Jake & Tiffany were married on July 31st...

We had the joy and honor of being present at the ceremony and then had a great time at the reception. Here are a few photos from the day!

Lily ran her very first 5k on Mother's Day!

Lily ran her very first 5k on Mother's Day. She did so well and had a great time. I was very proud of her. She particularly loved the special "decorated" porta-potties provided for this all-female race. :)

Colby turns 7! We love our boy!
